COrum offers a new women’s watch in his Admiral’s Cup collection. This Contemporary Legend Lady has to appeal to a female clientele. She, of course, kept elements of the original design, the twelve architecture of the box is now thinner, lighter, much more gentle, elegant and very distinct. The Legend Lady is available with different versions of dials to delight a female clients more demanding.

Since the Admiral’s Cup was proposed by Corum in 1960, she was one of the most iconic models of the brand. Original box with twelve panels decorated with colourful nautical pennants has always seemed like an unmistakable signature of this brand based in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The Admiral’s Cup line is rooted in the passions of the founder, René Bannwart, that are sailing and regatta. Even the name of this collection comes, meanwhile, a famous boat race which was until 2003 on the South coast of England.

The twelve architecture of the Admiral’s Cup always was also well appreciated by men than by women. Now Corum is pleased to present a new specially designed watch for his female clients, with a scope to twelve parts significantly softened.

The Admiral’s Cup of origin proposed functions such as the indication of tides or a count of start of regatta. Its dial was and remains inimitable with its nautical flags usually placed directly on a nice dial mother-of-Pearl or even on a flange around the dial. These flags are used in the place and place numbers of hours on the Admiral’s Cup watches, which are often painted in the color of the international semaphore alphabet combinations. Each stylized pennant has the function first to represent a number according to the CSI (International Code of signals maritime).

The whole new line Admiral’s Cup presents two variations in order to respond better to the expectations and personality of every woman. Proposed in a box more current 32 mm, the smaller of the two is the perfect companion for both the day and night. It requires no winding through a movement Swiss Made quartz and extremely accurate. This version is, however, available in four variations to offer a wider choice to a more demanding female clientele.

Beautifully showcased on this dial are the 12 pennants stylized forming the numbers, clearly linking this model to his illustrious legacy. It comes with a white satin bracelet that turns this watchmaking legend in jewelry to wear elegantly.
